Few Canadians saw action in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland this weekend. In fact, just two Canucks Abroad took the field for their respective clubs.

Richard Hastings: Photo: Dale MacMillanRichard Hastings: Photo: Dale MacMillanRichard Hastings – Started at left back for Inverness CT as they fell in a thrilling 4-3 loss to Aberdeen, in front of 5655 faithful fans at home. The Prince George native was booked in the 26th minute for a reckless foul, his biggest contribution to the match. This was his fourth yellow card in his 25th match of the season. Inverness sit at ninth place with 33 points, 16 points behind an Intertoto cup spot, and 27 points up on relegation bound Gretna (who had 10 points docked for entering into administration earlier this season).

Ian Mannus – Backstopped the Ballyclare Comrades in their 1-0 derby defeat at the hands of the Carrick Rangers. Despite a solid effort in net, the deadlock was broken in the 57th minute as Carrick found the back of the net. A cross from the right side of the field was flicked on to the front of the net and fell eight yards from goal, Robbie White calmly slotted it past a helpless Mannus to give the Carrick side a lead they would not relinquish. The Comrades now sit 6 points behind league leaders Loughgall in the title race.
